Family

As I suspected ABC Family is changing their name to Freeform because they feel they need to change to appeal to the present mindset of connection that is surface level and un-challenging. Apparently, the word family is just too strong of a word for our young to handle.  God forbid we market the idea of too much family. Sometimes the idea of family is truly a drag. Let's face it, we didn't pick them and sometimes they rub us the wrong way. FAMILY however are a physical part of us as well as spiritual. We have a special connection with them whether we feel it or not. We have known them long enough to know the good, bad and ugly and overlook if we choose to, knowing their heart and loving them for the good..Some family ties are destructive and may need to be broken but more often then not, God gave us one another for a reason . We usually don't come to such conclusions till we are done running around in our younger years of life. We find out that our fleeting and selfish pleasures have left us empty and unconnected. That's when we usually come back to our roots and learn the meaning of true love for one another and the joy of the connections that God had made us long before we were born. There are some of you that may read this and say, for the love of it's just a station name change stop whining. Well I feel we all need to open our eyes to the changes that are taking place around us. They are warning signs of the deterioration of our society and culture. We need to consume less and give more love and spend more family quality time together. We must show, not tell our children the meaning of family. Thanksgiving shopping soon to become Christmas Day shopping. More fun to shop than to put up with the loose cannon of a cousin or Sister that causes arguments. God forbid we have to slow down and listen to Grandma tell that same story one more time. It's the people that are over 35 to 40 that have lived long enough to know, you would give anything to hear that story again. Please, if you have children, please take them around their family. Not just on Holidays but once a week or more. Please give them time to develop a bond that is lasting and when they have their first fight, show them to work it out in love. Show them that walking away is not an option. We cannot help if someone walks away from us. We just do what we are able to keep them close. Forgive and overlook. Humble ourselves and forget about offenses, knowing all of us are struggling with demons. If you want to see the direction of our present youth, watch the Old Navy commercials, they send a despicable message to our youth. We can change this with our Grandchildren. For those of us with Grandchildren, it's our job just as much as our children's. It takes a village to raise a child. Please stand strong with the notion of Family being a treasured and good thing.  God help us to know what is important. In the mighty name of Jesus, AMEN!

The Gospel of Jesus's Wife

http://www.livescience.com/34229-what-does-the-gospel-of-jesus-s-wife-say.html

I was watching the Smithsonian Channel today and this was one of the topics. As the scholars and priests debated the authenticity of it, I began to wonder, what does the validity of this finding prove towards the authenticity of The Bible or if  Jesus was  just a good teacher, rather than Him also being the divine Son of God? I began to recount anything that I had ever read in the Bible regarding Jesus and if He were married or not. There is nothing that states that He was or was not. Then I thought of Peter. It clearly states that Peter had a Mother-In-Law.Simon was the original name of Peter, before Jesus renamed him Cephas which is translated to Peter.

KJV : MARK 1:29 Now as soon as they had come out of the synagogue, they entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. 30 But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once. 31 So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. And she served them.

This showed me that even though Peter had a Mother-In-Law, there is nothing spoken of regarding his wife or if they had children or not. If this is the case, then I suppose it could have been the case for Jesus as well. So, I still wondered, why then is this made into such a big deal? Whether He was married or single, what does that have to do with the message of Love and salvation that Jesus came to share with us?

I feel the first thing we should do to find Truth,  is take what we know from the Bible. This is a verse of Jesus speaking in regards to marriage:

1 TIM 4 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

Having read this, we know that Jesus felt marriage was something to be thankful for.It also shows us that He knew some would eventually forbid marriage for other's, as if it is something unholy or a sin.  Perhaps something  seen as a  type of hindrance for one set  aside as being holy or consecrated to God. Of course He knew, for God revealed it to Him and He has revealed it to us.

So if Marriage is something to be thankful for and Christ came to be like us in every way,  except that He was without sin, what does it matter if He had a wife and children or not? If He had sexual intercourse within the bonds of Marriage, it would not have been a sin for Him to do so. The Truth is that sex is something that is beautiful and not dirty as some would have been made to believe. It is not simply and act to multiply the Earth. He created it for the enjoyment of two married lovers. Anyone can read the Book Of Solomon and see this. Sex is a beautiful expression of the love that married people have together.

We unable to know for sure if the Gospel of Jesus's Wife is an ancient writing that is true and was hidden for selfish purpose of religion or a fake created to give someone fame.   What we can be sure of  is that Jesus said that some would be tempted to take words from His Book as well add to them. Where there is temptation, there will be those that fall.  He also said that all that was hidden would be revealed. So, it should be as no surprise that we will be finding more and more things that were kept out of the Bible,  that are in fact authentic. Let us be at peace Father with the things that do not yet know once exposed. Please direct us to Your Truth and allow us to take what we need to and discard the rest. In the Name of Jesus, AMEN!

Hardened Heart

Please Lord I pray that you open the eyes and ears of our hearts. Please allow us to see things that others are unable to see in order to encourage those around us that need You the most. Please allow us to cast aside our idols and focus solely on You and what Your Spirit has to say to us.

In the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen!

The glue that holds us together : Laminin

I have a fascination with the way Science proves the Bible is True. This book written so many years ago, before we knew what we know now.

Laminin is a protein that holds our body together. It is a like the substance of glue for us.

Here is what it looks like under a microscope:

Image result for laminin microscope

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Thank you Jesus for dying for our sins!

In regards to Lent

1 Timothy 4:1 to 1 Timothy 4:3 KJV
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

I read this today and it is perfect timing with the kick-off of lent happening this week.

Fasting is a very Biblical notion however here is the way that Jesus Himself taught us to fast:

Matthew 6:16-18King James Version (KJV)16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

If everyone is fasting at the same time, isn't that a public rather than a secret act?
Fasting is something that we should be led individually to do and it should be between us and the Father. Fasting is a way of training ourselves to feed the Spiritual man with the Body of Christ. His body is the Word of God, our daily bread. By taking the distraction of physical food out of the picture, it allows us to solely feed and nourish our spiritual bodies. It should never be forced on someone.
I received a card in the mail when my son was in Catholic school that gave us a chart on what degree of sin that it was to eat meat on certain days during lent. They have names for these various levels of sins, Venial and Mortal to name a couple. Thank God the Lord Himself had opened up scripture to me before I received this. Knowing what I knew of the Bible at that time,  I was very upset with the Catholic Church for not only demanding that the church fast on their command but also for making up different levels of sin to seal the deal.
There is only one sin that is unpardonable and that is Blasphemy of the Spirit. I won't dare say I know exactly what that means to God because that is between Him and the person that is doing it. If I had to guess, I would say that it is someone such as the Anti-Christ who pretends that he is God knowing without a doubt that he is not.
If you are presently held in bondage to this belief of Lent and worse torturing yourself because you had forgotten and ate meat on Friday during lent or ash Wed or any of these made up days, please rest assured you have not sinned. Lent is not a Biblical practice and was made up by the Catholic church to exert their power over their people. I do believe that the Priests of today have been so far removed from the Truth they may not realize it themselves and truly believe in their hearts that what they are doing is for God. The roots of it however were more than likely another way to set the people up to sin by their definition of sin and eventually have a reason to pay an indulgence fee. This is where the Catholic church, (for a fee), is able to abolish whatever sin  you supposedly committed and pretend as if it never happened. Jesus is the only one that can do that for us and it is free of charge to them that believe in Him, rather than fallible man.
To address the second thing that was stated in the first 1 Tim verse on this page, they forbid men to marry.. Again the Catholic church who claims Peter was the first pope of their establishment. I am not sure how to tell them this but Peter would not have been allowed in their church because he was married:

Matthew 8:14-17King James Version (KJV)

14 And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.
15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
When I was younger and had not read all of my Bible, besides the bits and pieces that were in our religion book, I remember all to well the feeling of guilt if I had forgotten and ate meat. This is why I want to set other's free as I was set free from this religious bondage. I am no longer a slave to Catholicism but a servant to Father. Who the Son sets free, is free indeed!
Lord please help us all to allow the Bible to be our guide with your Holy Spirit that dwells inside of us, pointing us towards Your Truth.. In the name of Jesus Christ we ask this of you believing..  AMEN!

The Imitation Game - Haven't We All Played?

-Thank you to all of the people who are not afraid to step up and be different from the crowd. There is a greatness inside of you that will not be denied-

Alan Turing is a man that I will not forget.

What really drew me into His story was his relentless pursuit of his truth, in the midst of many naysayers. He was different and people a lot of times view differences as a threat rather than something to be embraced and learned from. Thank God He truly believed in himself and his dreams.

His story while lighting the flame of passion inside of me for fulfilling my dreams, is also one that greatly saddens me. Even though he proved his skeptics wrong and gave so many of his gifts to us to share, it wasn't enough to keep our society from demanding to change a man that was amazing just the way that he was. I realize that God has made it clear that homosexuality is not what is best for us but I also know the commands that Jesus left for us. Love the Lord your God with all your soul, mind and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. Mercy over sacrifice.

It is hard to deny in a culture of followers, who stands out as," different" and will be tormented for these differences in most cases, at various stages in their life. I believe it to be true however that the fuel behind this torment, is in a lot of ways related to the jealousy that another may feel, as they see another person stepping out into the freedoms, that they themselves wish they could enjoy. If not jealousy, then the result of a mind that is enslaved to conformity in regards to who we may feel we need to be in order to fit in. I realize that conformity is needed in many cases to make our environment safe and orderly but if one's actions fall  under moral and written code of conduct, ( most importantly God's Word), who are we to judge the Lord's son or daughter?

I am thankful for the many ways that God kept me from conforming to society as a child when I desperately wanted to fit in. Isn't this what we all want? To fit in. To be a part of something bigger than ourselves?  A society that screams what you have in material wealth, intelligence or physical attributes will deem your worth, is a breeding ground for abuse of a poor child. While I dreaded the horrible things that were said and done to me because I was different, I know now that God created that space for me, to come to the place of celebrating my differences rather than hiding from them. It has allowed me to see beauty in another that is willing to step out and to be themselves, rather than fit in with a dull and boring mentality, that we are all created and designed to be the same person. It has allowed me to see the Truth, rather than a lie. Most of this for me was based on outward appearance when i was younger. I had the saving grace of my humble sense of humor to cling to for dear life to gain a few friends. It was my only ace in the hole.

There were others that had it worse than I. These were the ones that did not communicate in a way that was deemed normal. You knew them, they had a stutter problem, they didn't understand the subtle communications that most understand which left them with an inability to connect, they were angry and acted out and scared the people around them. All of these things whether material or physical were things that left them feeling isolated and unacceptable. I say they had it worse because communication is the very core of our being. It is felt on an energetic level that like a magnet, when holding another magnet that is not the same is repelled by the other, we seem as a society to be even more afraid of someone that communicates differently for this reason. Alan fell into this category. My heart went out to him in a scene where he was asking his only friend Christopher questions about communicating. You could see that he so desperately wanted to understand socially acceptable brainwaves and behaviors but it was not meant for him to.

Alan was forced into his differences that made him stand out in greatness later in his life. It is the same for me. I have a heart for the underdog because I was an underdog. I was quite unattractive when I was younger but I have grown into a beautiful woman on the outside, with my own unique style and fashion, that I am able to use with the love that I have for God and others, to be accepted by all all groups and to bring other's into these groups that they no longer feel alone and isolated. I have the ability when someone is making fun of someone for being different,  to sway them to the Truth of knowing that there is something to be appreciated in their differences. A different way of seeing them, that turns their scorn for them into admiration. To allow them to see the light that sparkles inside of them, as a gem that when it catches SONlight, it's brilliance cannot be denied! It is there if we will only take the time to look through His eyes of love. To allow His Truth to stand in that gap , creating a bridge of acceptance for all.

To all of you who are considered to be freaks, different, awkward, and eccentric, BRAVO! I assure you that it will be those very things inside of you,  that when you step into them proudly nothing will stop you from reaching the stars and pulling them to Earth for the rest of us to enjoy. Never be anything other than yourself and always laugh at your quirks, they make you who you are and without them you would cease to be the beautiful YOU that you were designed by our Father to be.

To you Alan, I am so sorry for the horrible things that you endured at the hands of our government and the people that were threatened by your greatness. I am sorry that you lost your friend Christopher at a time in your life when he was the only friend that you had. I am sorry that you chose to believe the devil,  that your gift was your identity, rather than you seeing the Truth that you didn't need that gift to be loved. It was just an added benefit of who you were for us to share and the answer to them changing who you were should have been a resounding NO!  I know the pain of these many things helped you to turn your heart away from God, but my hope will remain that before you took the bite of the apple, you made peace with our maker and our prince Jesus Christ was there to wake you up into the Light that had given you your light that you shared with all of us.

To the people that I have misjudged in moments of weakness, I am heart-fully sorry.

May we all enjoy the peace and love that we were meant to have in Him. May we all recognize and encourage the bright light that shines in all of us. May we all shine together differently creating the most beautiful picture of love there is.

Alan's gift kept on giving.....
Turing worked from 1952 until his death in 1954 on mathematical biology, specifically morphogenesis. He published one paper on the subject called The Chemical Basis of Morphogenesis in 1952, putting forth the Turing hypothesis of pattern formation[99][100] (the theory was experimentally confirmed 60 years after his death[101])

Would you accept them if you didn't know the rest of their stories?

Einstein
Einstein didn't have the best childhood. In fact, many people thought he was just a dud. He never spoke for the first three years of his life, and throughout elementary school, many of his teachers thought he was lazy and wouldn't make anything of himself. He always received good marks, but his head was in the clouds, conjuring up abstract questions people couldn't understand. But he kept thinking and, well, he eventually developed the theory of relativity, which many of us still can't wrap our heads around.experienced a speech difficulty, a slow cadence in his speaking where he’d pause to consider what to say next.

Abraham
Abraham spent his formative years, from the age of seven to twenty-one, on the family farm in southern Indiana. As was common on the frontier, Lincoln received a meager formal education, the aggregate of which may have been less than twelve months. However, Lincoln continued to learn on his own from life experiences and through reading and reciting what he had read or heard from others

Benjamin Franklin
Franklin's parents could only afford to keep him in school until his tenth birthday. That didn't stop the great man from pursuing his education. He taught himself through voracious reading, and eventually went on to invent the lightning rod and bifocals. Oh, and he became one of America's Founding Fathers.

Vincent Van Gogh
Van Gogh is considered one of the greatest artists of all time, yet the poor guy only sold one painting the entire time he was alive: "The Red Vineyard at Arles (The Vigne Rouge)," which is now in the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow. Even though he made no money, he still painted over 900 works of art. Though his persistence went unnoticed when he was alive, Van Gogh proves you don't need external validation to be proud of the work you create.

Noah of the Bible
Was a drunk

David of the Bible ( the man after God's heart)
Committed adultery and murder

There are more.....

Unbelief is evil

HEB 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

The provocation that they speak of above:
NUM 21:5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
This may seem like a strange prescription for something as deadly as a snake bite but God is big on the symbolism thing. Let's look at what Jesus reveals about this scene
JOHN 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
to put things in perspective, the Israelites by this time in the dessert in Numbers 21, had already seen many miracles that God had performed for them. God was feeding them with the manna however, it was not good enough for them. They had been walking through the dessert long enough, to believe that Pharaoh had better provisions for them in Egypt and had forgotten what it was like to be enslaved by him. There was a false sense of security growing among them.  They would have rather of gone back to the slavery that God had freed them from in order to feel a temporary sense of satisfaction. They were basing their beliefs on what they were able to see in the natural, rather than remembering what God had done for them already and having faithful expectation of what He had promised them for their future. Instead of relying on God to meet what they needed at that time, they had grown impatient and rose themselves up to a position of knowing better than God what they needed the most. They no longer trusted in God's faithfulness to see them through to the promised land. A land so much better than anything that they had seen up to that point in their lives if they would only remain faithful to God and not grow weary.
Does this sound familiar? When I think of the thoughts that the devil was filling their minds with, I think of the fiery darts that he shoots at us when we are most vulnerable. It is our shield of Faith (belief) that protects our hearts from letting these darts penetrate. His plan seems to be the same, to have us believe that God is holding out on us, rather than allowing us to have time in between our blessings so that He is able to build the character that is needed within us to sustain them once we have them.
The devil likes to derail our Faith train by urging us to focus on what we are able to see with our physical eyes and figure out by reasoning with our minds, rather than having the eyes that are able to see those things things that God has promised will be fulfilled in His perfect timing by ways that we know not, in His strength and not ours. It is not important that know the plan, we know the One that does.
So what kept the Israelites that perished from following a very simple set of instructions in order to have life? They thought they knew better (pride) or they were too scared to obey or they simply did not believe it would work. In regards to the serpents being as thoughts that come from the devil, I can see how we would need to expose each and everyone one of those thoughts (lies), so that we are able to better hold them up them in judgement to the Truth that lives in our hearts. If we do not choose to look at the lies for what they are, they will continue on as our truth rather than His Truth and we will perish if we allow it to continue on for too long.
Birth in the Spirit happens when we truly BELIEVE in God's Words over the lies of the devil and ourselves. This sets us free from the bondage that many things of this world have to offer us if we should put our desire for them in front of our desire for His Truth.
Measure all things that you desire against the plumb line of our God and His Words. If they do not line up, cast them aside for they will prove to enslave you and make you miserable in due time.
Lastly, know that you are saved if you believe in the promise that you shall have everlasting life in the name of Jesus Christ and what He has done for you. Salvation is something that you will never attain without Him. Receive His Grace today and rest in Him.

John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?
31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
48 I am that bread of life.
49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
