A reminder: The Hobbit The Desolation of Smaug..

A friend of mine sent this to me today on a Facebook message: 

1 Peter 4:8. Love covers over sin. Praying that you feel loved and peaceful and safe today. Light always overcomes the darkness and love covers sin. Let your light and your love do their thing today!

Tonight I watched this movie. It was the first time that I was unable to remember the movie that had come before it in a three part series. It dawned on me while watching it that I had posted about The Hobbit part one, An Unexpected Journey.. I decided however to watch the rest of part two before I looked to see what it was. 

In part two, there is a girl elf named Tauriel. I felt as if He was telling me that I am like this elf but have lost sight of the power that I posses in Christ. She had a quest of her own in this movie and that was to keep darkness from settling over the land that she was fighting with a man that is like a brother to her, Legolos. In one part of the movie, she is healing a man name Kili, (whom she later grows to love) and a bright light shines from her as she is doing so.  I do not want to spoil too much of the movie since it is a newer release. Tonight, it is cold and rainy out. How fitting for God to speak the same message to me over again through the same movie on the same kind of a night.  I really needed to see this message again. I am supposing there are others that need it as well..Remember, we are all like Tauriel and Legolos on the same quest.

I received a birthday gift from a dear friend of mine. It arrived in a silver box with my full name engraved on the top. It reminded me of the type of gift box that may have been like one that the three kings had presented to Jesus so long ago. Inside there was a black velvet pouch that had another pink velvet pouch inside of that. This pouch had a set of silver dog tags in it. The top plate has a trellis like design and a cut out heart so that you can see through it to the bottom plate. The front of the bottom plate has my Army Serial number art323, my position Disciple of God (DOG) and the back of that same plate has HOPE 111 engraved on it. When the top plate is directly aligned with the bottom, you can see the words OF GOD inside the heart that is on the top plate. The initials are smaller case to remind me to stay humble. The message of HOPE 111 was a revelation that God had shared with me a few years ago that I had shared with my friend.

 

I remember before this package had arrived that day, I was in the restroom at work and when I looked in the mirror, I had acknowledged that the outfit I was wearing reminded me that I am in the Army of Lord. It was a black T shirt with a silver Jesus Fish and Capri's that had camouflage on them.

 

Some may call this a coincidence but I know that it was not. It was a confirmation for me that I am a part of His Army. It was as if He was handing me the dogs tags Himself.

 

For the last few years I had made it a point to have dinner on Monday nights at my Mom's, (who lived with my Grandma),. I brought my son with me, and eventually my Brother started coming and he would bring his girlfriend. Once Kyle started to date someone, he would bring her as well. Eventually, my brother started bringing his friends at times. Everyone had always been welcomed in that house and my loving Mother with a gift of serving had made it a feeling of home for all.

 

When I came to my Mom's house that night, I had noticed that every single person that was in the house had camouflage on. This was actually pretty unusual and even my Mom had it on. Granted hers was a Disney shirt with blue camouflage but camo nonetheless, LOL.

 

As I am writing this story now, I do so with a smile in my heart mixed with sadness and revelation. There has been much turmoil on my Grandmothers side of the family in the way of the siblings. They are all very kindhearted, loving people however the family was steeped in religion that bore it's natural fruit of judgement and condemnation, rather than love and mercy towards each other. Needless to say, once my Grandmother passed last year, it has only gotten worse. I am not sure why my Grandmother did not  leave the house to my Mother who moved in with her and had taken care of her but I suppose it is not my place to judge her actions. I stand with a broken heart watching the family succumb to the spirit of Greed in ways that I could have never imagined. I guess in my heart, I thought they would do the right thing and let my Mom have the house. You see the house would not be if she had not moved in. Grandma could not make the payments so, she asked my Mother to move in with her. I love all of my family and I will always strive to believe the best and try to convince each of them to believe the same in each other. My Mom did not expect to be given the house, and agreed that the siblings are entitled to their inheritance. Over the last year I have seen and heard things that have really stretched my Faith. I have been moving my Mother for the last couple of months who is now an hour away from me :-(.. Life has been very hectic for me. I went from not having to suffer much loss to suffering a great amount of loss and it seems to continue to be more and more. It dawned on me today that the worst of this started right after I received my dog tags and how appropriate that I went to that house after having received them and all of my immediate family who are in this battle, were wearing camo as well.

 

Today is a colder rainy day. These are the types of days when I seem to be able to hear God the clearest. After feeling as if God has been anywhere but in my midst for the last few months, I watched the Hobbit this AM and then I read a book and prayed. It was through all of these vessels that God spoke very clearly to me. There is a scene in the Hobbit where there are Eagles that rescue the gang and sweep them away to a safe place on top of a mountain. They are able to see their homeland from this high point, that they have been trying to save on their journey. A dragon was able to steal it away from their ancestors when their kings heart became set on gold. I thought to myself, why didn't they just fly them over all the way? It was still a very long journey from where they were.  I heard, because they will not be  prepared to fight the battle unless they take the entire journey. For it is on the journey that they will experience trials that will teach them what cannot be taught by words. It is our trials that make us stronger, not our comfort. It is the time that it takes to make the journey that gives us the chance to have these experiences.  If we lean in closer to God during these times and wait for Him with a Hopeful Heart, we can win the battle and the Kingdom He has promised us!

The last memory that I have on the last Monday we all shared together in Grandma's house was all of us hugging in a huge pact like formation telling each other that we love each other jumping up and down being goofy. My Mom who was sitting in a chair at that time even jumped up and joined in. I remember thanking God for giving me that memory to hold onto. I was hopeful that God by way of miracle would let my Mom keep the house. It appears the answer at this time is no but things are not always what they seem. Please if you are reading this post, pray for the peace of all in my family in the Will of God and restoration.. I pray for your peace in your life in the Will of God as well.

I was prompted to share this story with you and felt a prompting to relay a prophetic message to you. This post is anointed to get a Word to you today. If you are reading it, it is not by coincidence or chance. You were destined to read it and let it serve as a confirmation for you. There are feelings that you have already had on your heart about the spiritual warfare that is in our country and all around the world. You have seen the signs and YES, THIS IS WAR! God has been and will continue to prepare you for this battle. You are enlisted in His Holy Army. The best weapons that you have are your relationship to our Father, love and mercy. You look around and see pain all around but don't worry and keep pushing forward in FAITH and TRUST. God will work ALL things out for the good of those that LOVE HIM. Do not choose to let your heart grow cold in distrust in His Promises. WE NEED YOU! HOLD THE LINE!

A Visit from The Spirit

It was about the year 2001 and I had just finished telling a friend of mine that was standing at my front door that I did not know if I believed in God anymore. The last thing that she said to me before she left was that I just needed to have Faith. She pointed to a small wind chime type Dreamsicle decoration (a cherub sitting on a rainbow that said Faith) that she had given to me at some point as a gift. It hangs in my living room still till this day. 

Feeling discouraged, I went into my room and threw myself across the bed. It must have been night because I remember that the lights were on. Within almost seconds of my putting my head face first into the pillow and closing my eyes, I saw through my mind's eye, what appeared to be a Haley's comet look alike coming straight towards me. There were other little stars too, that now reminds me of the old time screen saver in Windows. A black screen with the white stars flying all over.  It startled me so much that I remember gasping as I yanked my head up off the pillow. I was sitting there for minute trying to comprehend what had just happened. I noticed in that moment, something over to the right of me next to my head. This area on my bed appeared to be moving in clear waves but there was nothing there. I kept trying to re-adjust my eyes by opening and closing them. It took me years before I realized the best way to explain what this form looked like. It was comparable to the heat waves that you see on blacktop when the sun hits it or coming off of a hot grill. There was no form to it but you could see it there. I decided that I had enough of seeing this and something must have been wrong with my eyes, so I turned over on my back and now my head was facing the bottom of my bed. To my surprise this did not make it go away. The formless waves were now at the end of my bed and had stretched out to a larger size vertically, to about the size of a person. It was strange because although the waves of what I now call energy were moving in one direction, the bottom of the waves were moving a different way and had a wispy, fluttery look and feel to them.  I noticed that it was moving from the foot of my bed, down the side of it where I was laying. It was moving closer and closer. It was not moving fast but slowly and gently. I would have thought that I would have been terrified at this point, because I knew this was not natural and I knew it had to be a Spirit. I had an unusual feeling of peace come over me as it made its way down the side of my bed towards me. Halfway through its journey, I closed my eyes. Immediately an image of an angel with a harp seared into my minds eye. It was just the outline of this image, no face. It was as if I was looking at the end of a heated branding iron with this image, only instead of that glowing amber color, it was full of all colors just the outline. I opened my eyes right back up and the image was closer. I had an inner knowing that it was trying to communicate something to me. In my mind, I asked what message do you have for me? As the image moved in towards my face, I felt a feeling of comfort and love like I have never felt before or since. The waves went away and all I could see all around me was a billowy white color. Though there was still no form to it, it had a soft feeling to it. Though it did not have arms, I could feel it wrapped around my face as if it were hugging me. I then heard in a friends voice, "you just need to love Angela, you just need to love". I heard the word love a couple more times and then I was in a deep sleep until morning. 

All of this happened to me before I was walking closely with Jesus and I really didn't think much about it until about 2006. It was then that I started learning things about the Spiritual world and I was reminded of what happened in my room that night and tried to explain it to a few people and started researching spiritual visitations. It was amazing to me how similar these stories were to what I had seen. 

On 11-28-06, I was reading a paper while I was walking on my walk about manifesting. I kept repeating the words Faith, Faith, Faith and later on that walk Grace, Grace,Grace a red berry hit me in the nose that seemed to have fallen out of the sky, which caused me to look up. It was probably a bird that dropped it but when I looked up, I saw a vision that looked like this:
 
I remember thinking that the middle where the sun sat was a  portal/door of transformation. I could see various colors of the rainbow in the circle. I was not staring at the sun but in my mind, I pictured myself climbing in and it burning off of me anything that no longer served me, transforming me. As I was walking back from my lunch break, I remembered looking around and there were several little pine trees planted everywhere. Each one had a sapphire wavy blue color standing next to it. Like energy waves again but this time colored, it appeared that each one had a blue flame in the center of it. 

Sometime in  2007 or so that I saw HEATwaves dancing off the blacktop at my friends house and and I said, "THERE THAT IS IT, THAT IS WHAT THE FORM LOOKED LIKE". A couple of years after that and gaining more knowledge of the Spirit world, I had  learned enough by that time to know that Spirits are energy, but why did it look like heat waves? It was dark outside (because my light was on) so, no sun shining in through the window. My furnace vent was over to the left of the top part of my bed, not down at the bottom. I don't remember if it would have been on or not because I do not remember the time of year. Either way, it could have never followed a path to from the bottom of my bed, down the side and to my face. I did not have an answer at that time so, I moved on. 

A friend of mine has a son that when he was 4-5 years old especially, would say things that a normal child his age does not normally say or talk about. The anointing on him was very strong. I could feel this from him.  On 10-11-07 I was talking to her on the phone and I heard him talking and playing in the background. I had never done this before or since but I felt led to ask her,  to ask him if he had a word for me.  She asked him while she was still on the phone with me using my very words. Remember, he is a small child and no one had ever asked him anything like this before that time that I know of.   Without missing a beat, he started speaking: 

God always says that Angela is kind, special, created to God. He loves her very much all the way to the line. As he said the word line, he pointed out the window. My friend had tried to correct his saying created to God, feeling that it was surely created by God that he had meant to say. When he heard her change his words, he adamantly stopped her and corrected and let her know that it was exactly how he had said it. 


On 8-16-12 I was able to connect the dots to everything that had happened to me with these stories up until this point. I sent an e-mail to my close spiritual sisters that I had read Psalm 19 that day and it all had made sense to me :

8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

In the natural, one may read these words and feel that they are speaking of the sun, but I feel in my Spirit it is also symbolic of the SON. 

I took this directly below from the article,(that I have placed for further reading at the end of this blog), and changed the wording to how I see it with my Spirit eyes:

Definition of Heat Wave Energy

The sun is a primary source of heat wave energy.

Energy appears in many forms within the physical environment. Heat is also a form of energy that you can't see, but you can feel it through the sense of touch. All forms of energy consist of waves of particles that carry energy inside them. Heat waves are characterized by certain wavelengths that move at particular speeds and intensities.

Electromagnetic Spectrum

• The electromagnetic spectrum is made-up of different types of energy waves or wavelengths that appear in various forms within the physical environment. Sounds, colors and microwaves are all different types of energy waves according to the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Heat wave energy--also known as infrared waves--sits just below the color or visible light portion of the spectrum. With radio wavelengths being the slowest and gamma rays being the fastest, heat energy waves move just a little slower than those that make up visible light.

Function

• Energy waves are made up of a series of subatomic particles called photons. Photons move in wave-patterns that vary in length and intensity, according to the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Each photon carries a certain amount of energy depending on the type of wavelength it moves inside. The longer, slower wavelengths found inside radio waves contain lower amounts of energy than gamma rays, which are shorter and faster waves. The length and speed of these wavelengths determine their frequency rates. Heat energy waves move just a little bit slower than those found within the visible light portion of the spectrum.
• Heat Energy

• As with most energy types, heat energy can be absorbed by objects, water and air. When this happens, energy is converted from one form to another, according to the California Institute of Technology. The most natural source of heat waves comes from the sun. Sun rays tend to be absorbed into whatever they makes contact with and in the process warm or heat up an exposed surface. Once absorbed, the heat waves cause the molecules contained inside an object (or water or air) to speed up. The faster these molecules move the warmer the object becomes.

Thermal Energy

• The energy emitted by the sun comes in the form of thermal energy. The transfer of thermal energy to objects or air or water is done through the heat waves that enter, according to the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Sun rays are a type of radiation in which heat transfers through electromagnetic waves. This transfer of energy is what occurs when an object's molecular activity increases from ongoing sun exposure. Toasters, light bulbs and irons are a few of the many sources of thermal energy.

Energy Conversions

• When temperatures continue to rise, heat wave energies can be converted into other wavelength forms, according to the Sprawls Educational Foundation. An example of this conversion process appears when certain types of metal objects are heated at extremely high temperatures. As the molecules increase in activity, the material gets hotter and may take on a reddish color. Further heating can cause a bluish or greenish coloring to develop. These changes in color represent the changes in wavelengths that take place as frequencies move up the electromagnetic spectrum.

Let your light shine before men

Matthew 5:16

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The other day, I had received a prophetic message from Marie Chapian. She used to send me these all of the time but I had not seen one in probably a year. 

In a part of this prophetic message she had said, "where you step your foot you bring the light of Heaven". 

My friend on this same day was talking to me about the surgery that my Dad was having and she said, that I would be in the hospital with a loving heart,lighting up any room he was in the day of his operation.

My friend had no idea about the e-mail from Marie. 

At the hospital, I had someone that worked in the check in room for surgery tell me that I have a rare gift of compassion that is very hard to find. She said to keep the sweet Spirit of mine and stay just the way that I was rather than the way that most of the people are that she sees. She said that she sensed the Spirit of Christ in me. I talked to her for a long time about a situation that was happening and that is how she came to the conclusion that she had come to. Normally, people would have been in and out of her office but it turned out that my brother knew her and it was the end of her day, so we were able to sit and talk to her. I gave her a hug when I left and thanked her for her kind words. She told me that she felt I was gifted to work with others and that she would pray with me that I could find my true purpose in life. What it looks like in the natural. I have an idea of my gifts but I just don't know how it looks as a profession besides the possibility of a center for Women.  I am looking for more details and direction. It's not usual that you have this type of encounter in the hospital where everyone is so pressed for time. It was as if God designated that time as an appointment for me or both of us.  

After that, I was walking to find the car and I smiled as I passed someone by on the walkway and he said now I can tell that you are a happy person! My smile was all it took to give him a good feeling. 

I truly felt in that moment that the prophetic words were true and I did bring the light of Christ with me. I feel as if this light is Spirit and His Spirit is LOVE. 

Pay attention to the Spirit that you are bringing with you. Can they see Christ in you or do you blend in with the rest of the secular crowd? Do they see something in you that is different that they want a part of? 

Bring the love of Christ with you and that love will light the room. 

Everything I have is already yours... (The Prodigal Son..and his older brother)

AUDIENCE: Publicans, sinners, and also the Pharisees,scribes (group of so-called righteous men)

SETTING: The Pharisees and Scribes were grumbling and complaining that Jesus was was eating with the tax collectors and sinners. 

KJV LUKE 15 Jesus spoke this 1 of 3 parables to them. 

11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:

12 And the younger of them  said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.

29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

At first glance of this story, one may believe that the condition of the younger brothers heart, is far worse than the elder brother.  The glory however of Jesus's parables are that they seldom fall short of teaching more than a couple of lessons to us. Today, I would like to turn our focus to the mentality of the elder brother. Upon our first introduction, he is angry because his Father appears to be lavishing the best of the best that He has, all over the younger brother. How could He do this when the younger brother did such horrible things? Why is He celebrating this type of behavior? He continues in his anger further, justifying his position of worth by the acts of service he has performed and his supposed impeccable character at the commandment of his Father. Finally, he expresses that he is hurt because his Father has never given him any of these these things that the younger brother has just been blessed with, when he clearly deserved them more due to his service: 

29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment

We see here that the elder son was doing all the right things because his Father said to do them however it does not appear by his words, that any of it was done because he wanted to. It was more of an obligation that eventually led to his resentful feelings towards his Father and his brother and caused him to miss out on the celebration and pure joy of his brothers return. 

The Father's response is something that we all need to grab a hold of: 

31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

In my opinion the younger brother was in a much better place than the older. He may have left but because of having the time away, he was then able to FULLY appreciate what he used to have with the Father. I feel as if it renewed him and allowed him to stay because he wanted to stay, not because he felt he had to. There was also nothing left for him to expect as he had already blown all of his inheritance. If you noticed, the entire time the younger son tried to plead his case for grace, the Father wanted nothing else but to love him and celebrate his return and gave him this grace freely. 

The Father in the story is symbolic of God and how He feels about us. There is nothing that we can or cannot do to make Him love us, less or more. He is no respecter of persons and loves us all the same.   It shows us that we have many things available to us as sons and daughters of the King and we need something sometimes to open our eyes to what we have. 

Notice that the younger brother did not even have to ask for anything. All he had to do, was to remember where he came from and go back and take part in what was always his in His Fathers House.  

If you want to know what you have available to you in the Father, you can find it all in His Word and in seeking time with Him to reveal it to you. All you have to do is believe and receive.  

His Seal, His Promise

MANIFEST- :  readily perceived by the senses and especially by the sense of sight, easily understood or recognized by the mind :  obvious

On 11-28-06, I saw a similar image to that as above,  in the sky as I was walking. I was reading a paper about what is generally referred to in some circles as manifesting. I see manifesting as God's ability and desire to fill our lives with miracles and super natural and our taking hold of that which is waiting to be received and ever available to us.  Before my eyes beheld the circular rainbow above me, I had spoken the words Faith, Faith, Faith to myself and had steered my mind into total concentration on only my desire for a deeper Faith in God. A berry from the sky (probably dropped by a bird), hit me right in the nose as I finished my declaration of the word Faith. At that moment, I looked up and saw this breathtaking picture in the sky.  I had never seen anything like it before at that time. 

Immediately I envisioned myself climbing through the perfect hole where the Son was shining through.  It became a portal in my mind that was going to transform my then present thoughts of fear, lack, anger and judgement into thoughts of Love, Faith and Grace. The word Grace came to the forefront of my mind once I was inside the Light. When I was finished thanking God for this wondrous and awesome experience, I looked away and saw around every pine tree a sapphire blue light next to each one that looked like a flame burning inside the light. There must have been 7 or 8 of them. 

I knew that something had changed in me. I did not have firm grasp at that point what it all meant and I am still learning till this day.

I saw this again in the sky on 10-25-09. This day was a very difficult day for me in my life. By the time the circular rainbow made it's way back on my path, God had shown me many things. I knew at this point in time that this circular rainbow is what I understand now to be the seal of God. Every King of old would seal any covenant (promise) that was decreed by him. The seal that was chosen to define a particular King, was always something representative of his characteristics. Just as God promised that it would not rain and put His Bow in the sky as a sign of His Promise. I knew on that day that God was reminding me of His promise of His Son to save me and at the time was promising something new to me as well. 

They have done and are still researching the many properties of colors. Each color represents different feelings and characteristics. White encompasses all colors of the rainbow. 

The next time you see a rainbow in the sky, let it ever serve as a reminder of how much He loves you and gave His Son to die for you so that you might have life. If you believe, anything is possible.

Though we do not know the real date of the birth of Jesus, let us choose today and every day to recognize His birth and what that means for all of us as Christians. ETERNAL LIFE..... 

I bought a new Christmas Tree this year because I had given my tree to my son and his wife. My ornaments were still in my storage unit and I did not feel like going to get them this year. The lights on my new tree are so pretty,  I figured it looked pretty enough without them. Wouldn't you know that even though everyone was unaware of this in my circle of friends and family, that I would receive more ornaments this year than any other year to date. While each one is taking on it's own special story, I will speak of one specific ornament and the story behind it:

When my Grandma passed away on May 25 2012, a message was given to me that when you see a cardinal, it's a reminder to Keep the Faith. I received this picture frame in a white elephant gift exchange. Notice the cardinal on the top. I wanted to put a picture of Grandma in it. I looked in my photo box and there was this one that was taken in May 2012 at the nursing home. Even though the printer I have is low on ink, I was able to print this on regular paper and it could not have come out clearer. I could not get the frame to sit right on the branches, till I found this spot. I had wondered why there are more pinkish lights on this tree rather than red when I had first plugged it in. Even though I love them, I thought it was kind of odd. Now I know why. My Grandma loves the color pink. From the spot that the frame finally settled in, there is pink all around. Now I can see her at Christmas while knowing she is all around us now and always.
